After more than two decades in the fast-paced world of technology, Wanda Knight has redefined what it means to evolve. From her beginnings in finance to her rise as a Fortune 100 leader and digital creator, she continues to inspire women to embrace transformation at every stage of life. We sat down with Wanda to talk about leadership, creativity, and why reinvention is never the end—it’s a new beginning.
Q: Wanda, after such a long and successful corporate career, most people would choose to relax. What made you take a different path?
Wanda Knight: I think for me, the idea of slowing down never felt right. I’ve always believed in growth and creativity. After more than twenty years in tech, I realized I didn’t want to wait for some “perfect time” to start living intentionally. I wanted to begin right away—on my own terms.
Q: You started in finance but made a big shift into technology. How did that happen?
Wanda: It was actually through an internship at a major tech firm. I was fascinated by the pace, the innovation, and how technology connected people and ideas. That experience completely changed my career direction. I moved into tech sales and discovered that my analytical background and curiosity gave me an edge.
Q: You’ve received multiple awards—Salesperson of the Year, Sales Leader of the Year—but your team also named you one of the Best People Leaders. What did that recognition mean to you?
Wanda: That one meant the most. Awards for performance are great, but being recognized by your team is something special. It confirmed what I’ve always believed—that leadership is about people, not just results. It’s about trust, empowerment, and helping others see what they’re capable of.
Q: You’re still leading in a Fortune 100 company, yet you’ve also become a digital creator. How did that transition happen?
Wanda: It started naturally. I’ve always been passionate about creativity and storytelling. Over time, I began sharing content on fashion, beauty, and lifestyle—especially for women over 40. My goal was to show that transformation doesn’t have to be intimidating. It can be exciting, liberating, and deeply fulfilling. What I post isn’t just about appearance; it’s about mindset.
Q: You’ve traveled to 38 countries. How has that global perspective shaped your work and outlook on life?
Wanda: Travel has been one of my greatest teachers. Exploring places across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East has given me a deeper appreciation for how differently people define beauty and success. It’s broadened my perspective and helped me stay curious and open. Every trip reminds me that there’s no single formula for happiness or achievement.
Q: What’s next for you? What does the next chapter of your journey look like?
Wanda: I’m focused on expanding my mission to help women in transition—professionally and personally. I’m developing mentorship programs, exploring partnerships with global brands, and working on projects that encourage women to rediscover their strength and voice. Reinvention doesn’t stop at any age or stage—it’s an ongoing process.
Q: If you could leave readers with one message about reinvention, what would it be?
Wanda: Every phase of life builds the next one. Don’t think of reinvention as starting over—think of it as continuing your story with more purpose and passion. For me, this isn’t an ending. It’s the most fulfilling beginning yet.
Wanda Knight’s story proves that leadership, creativity, and courage don’t fade with time—they evolve. And in that evolution, she’s showing women everywhere that transformation can be the most beautiful part of the journey.
